Search Engine Optimisation

So you have a nice, shiny and responsive website (hopefully built by me), but its no good if your potential customers cant find it. This is where Search Engine Optimisation comes in.

Using highly sophisticated software, we can analyse the current performance your website, how it compares to your competitors and what we can do to make improvements.

The options available include Keyword research, linking your site to relevant blogs and social media platforms and even creating landing pages which are optimised to attract traffic and drive this to you main site.

All of these things are organic and ethical and Google will like you. For those companies with a dedicated marketing budget or if you are launching something on a specific date we can also use paid options such as Pay Per Click (PPC). This will help you leapfrog the competition so you will appear at the top of the Google search page BUT it wont keep you there is you stop paying.

So what is SEO anyway ?

Search Engine Optimisation, otherwise known as SEO is basically the process of improving a websites organic ranking on the key search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo for a set of keywords. By improving this the position of your website on these search engines you should attract more visitor traffic which ultimately, should lead to more enquiries, phone calls and sales.  SEO can generally be broken down into two categories:

It doesn’t always mean starting a site from scratch, most sites can have extra code added to script in order to make it pass Googles tests.

Costs generally range from £175 to £250* depending on the amount of content and complexity of your site. *Subject to a site review

Now, just because your site now passes that test doesn’t always mean your site is responsive to the viewer. It may still look really bad and require the user to zoom in to content to read it properly. This is bad, your end user should ALWAYS be at the forefront of your mind.
